Gian Guido Nobili

He is currently Head of the Research Unit on Criminology, Department of Local Police and Urban Security, Emilia-Romagna Region (Italy). Oversee research program, projects, and data systems concerning crime, victimization, juvenile delinquency, immigration, urban security and crime prevention. He is the technical coordinator of the Italian Forum for Urban safety. Since 2006 member of the European Society of Criminology (ESC) and founder member of the European Governance of Public Safety Network. He mainly deals with the sectors of crime prevention, evaluation of crime reduction programmes, policing, and research on new crime prevention strategies, in particular on CCTV. His publications concern these topics.
